UAE National Day 2018
The UAE was born 47 years ago when its founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan brought together seven emirates to form a nation. Yesterday, on Wednesday, November 28, ISC Dubai took the opportunity to honor the country’s heritage, thank its leaders, and celebrate the UAE’s 47th National Day. In the presence of Brigadier General Abdelraheem Bin Shafeeh, director of Al Barsha police station and representative of Dubai Police, and Mr. Hisham Hassan, School Director at ISC Dubai, a crowd of over 2000 students, parents, teachers, and administrative staff members gathered to pay homage to this beautiful country we are honored to call home. ISC Dubai comprises a student body from over 85 nationalities, perfectly highlighting the UAE’s spirit of unity, inclusivity, and diversity. The festivities featured everything from Emirati dances and musical performances, traditional games, camel riding, and henna stations, to balloon bending, art and sand bottle stations, and bouncing castles.
All in all, it was a special event that celebrated our pride in the UAE – its warm hospitality and rich culture.
