Grade 9 is the beginning of the four-year cycle that leads to our external university entrance qualifications and graduation in Grade 12. In addition to preparing our Secondary students for a High School Diploma, our courses also prepare them for success in the U.A.E. national exams, along with a wide range of internationally recognized standardized examinations, including the US College Board Advanced Placement® (AP®) and SAT® exams, as well as the Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and Advanced Subsidiary Level (AS Level) and Advanced Level (A Level) exams. This gives our students the opportunity to be admitted to top universities worldwide. ISC-Dubai is also a registered center for administering SAT, AP®, IELTS, IGCSE, AS Level, and A Level exams.
U.S. Recognized High School Diploma
Like in all schools in the SABIS® Network, the SABIS® High School Diploma is recognized by colleges and universities worldwide.
Advanced Placement® (AP®)
The AP® program is an option available to ISC-Dubai students. The AP® is offered by The College Board in the U.S. and is taken by students worldwide. AP® exams fulfill entrance requirements at universities in the U.S., Europe, and worldwide. AP® exams may grant students credit at U.S. universities and allow them to skip the Foundation Year at U.K. institutions, enabling direct entry into the first year.
International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE)
At ISC-Dubai, we offer our students in grades 9, 10, and 11 the opportunity to take IGCSE examinations. These exams are offered by Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) in the U.K. Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) is reputed to be the world's largest provider of international qualifications for students aged 14 to 19. IGCSEs are recognized by leading universities and employers worldwide and are seen as an international passport to progression and success.
Advanced Subsidiary & Advanced Levels (AS and A Levels)
The AS and A Levels are another option available to ISC‑Dubai students who plan to apply to universities worldwide and who may enter U.K. universities directly in the first year.
